The New Reality of Off-Campus Programming
COVID-19 has frozen off-campus programming at schools around the world and forced parents, students, and school leaders to pay attention to risk management as never before. How can we as risk managers take this moment of pause to redesign our off-campus risk management for these new realities? Join us on April 9th as we dive into Risk Management: The New Reality in Off-Campus Programming, a half-day experience of exploring key risk strategies and frameworks for global travel, community partnership, service days, internships, and more.
Throughout this half-day professional learning engagement we evaluate our off-campus programming from two perspectives: risk management and purpose. These two perspectives allow us to create safer experiences for our students and ensure those experiences are meaningful and relevant to each student's learning. We will discuss foundational risk management strategies, trip and program design, group dynamics, curricular tie-ins, and the transference of experience from field to classroom. More information about this day-long event will be available in the next few weeks. Please sign up for our mailing list to stay up-to-date on all of our professional learning engagements. |
